Meet Our Director
Hello! My name is Shante Murray, and I am the center director at The Giving Tree at Logan Square. Before stepping into this role, I served as the assistant director. I hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and have over 20 years of teaching experience in preschool classrooms and grades 1–3.
I am a proud mother to my child, Taylor, and the loving owner of Ashy Poo, my sweet tabby cat. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, attending concerts, and savoring dinners at Provare in Chicago.
Working with children brings me immense fulfillment. I take pride in my role as director and find it incredibly rewarding to see children’s eyes light up with excitement as they learn new concepts.
