About Us
The Giving Tree of Philadelphia, Inc. operates two of the top childcare facilities in Downtown Philadelphia. Strategically located in Logan Square and Queen Village, The Giving Tree students are able to utilize the city surroundings as their playground.
Our main goal has always been to provide a unique learning experience for our children, and to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our families.
At The Giving Tree, we believe that each child is unique, and therefore deserves a unique experience.
To accomplish this, our teachers tailor classroom and outdoor activities to engage children in a manner that is best suited for their learning style and ability. We also believe that parents play the biggest role in any childs development so we strive to create a strong partnership with our families.
Our teachers communicate daily with parents about all aspects of their child's day. We also look to provide effective tools and education for parents about changes in eating, sleeping and development.
Health & Safety
The safety and well-being of our children are our top priorities. At The Giving Tree, we maintain strict standards of cleanliness and hygiene to ensure a healthy environment for our children. All of our staff members are trained in CPR and first aid, and we conduct regular safety drills to ensure that our emergency procedures are up-to-date. We also have secure entry systems and at both locations.
